The 'Shutter Guardian' is a storm-resistant shutter reinforcement tool that can be used to strengthen shutters with a central post. When a storm is raging, the shutter is pushed inward by the wind. However, buildings have gaps everywhere that allow the wind to enter. By having a small entrance, the amount of wind increases, creating a pressurized state indoors. If the location is where the central post of the shutter is and the sand in the receptacle has not accumulated to a sufficient depth, the central post can detach and lead to collapse.
